Danny Gouin

Danny holds a BS in Human Performance from Southern Connecticut State University ’91.

Prior to SCSU, Gouin played four years of college football at Springfield College. He spent 33 years coaching and teaching at various school in Massachusetts, Connecticut and in the Chicago area. The last 25 of those years were at King School in Stamford where he held a variety of positions from Physical Education Teacher to Assistant Director of Athletics, and Director of Physical Education. Gouin coached numerous sports including baseball, boys’ and girls’ lacrosse, football, basketball and was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for both the middle and upper school levels.

Danny is most proud of the number of boys and girls he has helped with recruiting to become a student-athletes at the next level, including the three young men he coached from middle through upper school at King and ultimately played in the NFL.
